Two weeks ago when I was decorating the Christmas tree it occurred to me that until now upcycleDZINE didn't feature a single Christmas decoration. So it was more than appropriate to search for something stylish, simple, fun, and of course, upcycled.
And during this search, I stumbled upon a very friendly and rustic-looking decoration. It's made out of vintage bed springs. The first time upcycleDZINE shared an upcycle design piece made out of bedsprings was the Mattress Chandelier. Never knew that those old bed springs could be so intriguing and inspiring. Another bed spring design is Mollight. A small and minimal upcycle design lamp showing ingenuity and simplicity.

Fun to make Christmas bells

Today's featured upcycle design DIY project looks so logical. And that's often proof of a great idea. Great upcycle ideas are often based on simplicity and fun. Dinah had a few old bed springs laying around that she once purchased for $1 apiece. She wanted to make something festive for the holidays and found a rustic bell ornament on sale and together with the bedsprings, she made these upcycled Bed Spring Christmas Bells. The nice thing about the bell ornament is that by dismantling it she was able to use several parts.
